SUMMER POSITION OPENINGS

Invitation to apply: Tapestry & EPIC Summer Camp Positions

All Positions - All Sites (Multiple Openings)

Schedule:

June 17th - CPR/FA (in-person) 3:45PM - 6:45PM @ Longfellow
June 18th - New Hire Orientation 9AM-3PM @ Longfellow
June 19th - Tapestry & EPIC PD Day 9AM - 5PM @ Roadside Chapel
June 23rd - Site level planning, meeting, moving and decorating Day 1 (Site Coordinators schedule this day)
June 24th - Site level planning, meeting, moving and decorating Day 2 (Site Coordinators schedule this day)

June 25th - August 8th - Summer Camp (EPIC Camp ends on 8/1)

Group Leaders (15 positions):  Individuals to plan and implement developmentally appropriate enrichment programming, supervise children and support a healthy safe environment.

Assistants (25 positions): Individuals to assist with group activities and help support a healthy safe environment, including on the bus.

Aides (10 positions): Experience working with children in a public school or child care setting.

Lifeguards (15 positions, 16+ years of age): Ensure campers are safe in and around water activities as well as make any rescues of distressed swimmers. We are willing to provide full training for any interested parties that can meet all hiring compliance and lifeguarding prerequisites.

Summer Camp Nurse: The successful candidate will have a vision for a proactive practice. Strong communication and collaboration skills are a must.  Remote/On call work is available.

Substitutes (10 positions):  Available to act as an Assistant, or Group Leader as needed. Positions based on credentials/professional licenses held.

Summer Camp Registrations - Coming Soon!

Join us for Tutoring, Jewelry Club, Communication Club, Carpentry Club & Dungeons and Dragons

Registration for Tapestry & EPIC is now open for the 2024-2025 school year, and we are excited to share our new online registration information. 

Please read these few bullet points before you click the link and begin:

 

• The online registration is in the RCPS student information system, Infinite Campus.

• If you have a parent account, please do not log in to begin the Tapestry registration.

• Registration for Tapestry will look the same as registering your child for school, up to selecting the grade level.

  • Write down the number of the registration, for your reference - you will need it later.

  • Important: When you reach the grade selection, please choose the T grades (T1, T5, etc.); this tells the system that you are intending to register for afterschool, not re-register for the school day.

    • If you reach questions asking for utility bills or birth certificates, you should stop and reach out to us
